The Difference between Sundanese and Javanese Culture is not a Barrier

Indonesia is an archipelago country. Each island has a diversity of cultures. The diversity of our culture to impact the traditional differences that applies in these areas. For example, Javanese and Sundanese are the two biggest local tribes in Indonesia. The differences among of them are the language, differences of the ritual which is use, how to sustain life etc.
Sundanese are an ethnic group originating from the western part of Java Island, Indonesia, which covers the administrative area of West Java province. Sundanese is the second largest ethnic groups in Indonesia, after the Javanese.
Sundanese (Bahasa Sunda, literally "language of Sunda") is the language of about 27 million people from the western third of Java or about 15% of the Indonesian population. It appears to be most closely related to Madurese and Malay, and more distantly related to Javanese. Sundanese language with its distinctive dialect as considered a difficult language area. Unlike the Indonesian, Sundanese language has several levels based on its level of decency, including the following:
a. Lemes Sundanese language , is the language used for people whose age was above us, this lemes Sundanese language has a very high value of modesty. Typically used to speak with parents, teachers, and people we respect.
b. Loma Sundanese language, is half Sundanese fine or mediocre. Loma language is usually used to talk to people who are the same age. For example to chat with friends usually use the language of Sunda Loma.
c. kasar Sundanese language, namely the coarsest Sundanese language. Sundanese language is often used in one's rough when you're angry. Rough Sundanese also used by people whose level of education or less, so do not know manners.
d. and the uniqueness in Sundanese language is unfamiliar consonant f. Sundanese people tend not to pronounce f. to recite the apology and libel (in bahasa) to map and pitnah. Sundanese people only know one p. namely p peuyeum. Nothing is f and v.
Ancestral customs which in Sundanese people are still maintained and respected. In the human life cycle known as the ceremonies that are traditional rituals such as ceremonial Gestation, The Birth, The Children, Marriage, Death etc. Similarly, in agricultural activities and religious ceremonies are known for unique and interesting. It was all intended as an expression of gratitude and beg 'mentally and physically well-being and safety of the world and the hereafter. Some of the ceremonial activities in West Java could be classified as follows: Ceremony Gestation, The Birth and Babies Ceremony, Ceremony of Childhood, Marriage Ceremony and Death Ceremony.
Sundanese culture has borrowed much from Javanese culture; however it differs by being more overtly Islamic, and has a much less rigid system of social hierarchy. The Sundanese, in their mentality and behavior, their greater egalitarianism and antipathy to yawning class distinctions, their community-based material culture, of feudal hierarchy, apparent among the people of the Javanese Principality. Central Javanese court culture nurtured in atmosphere conducive to elite, stylized, impeccably-polished forms of art and literature. In a pure sense, Sundanese culture bore few traces of these traditions.
The Javanese is an ethnic group native to the Indonesian island of Java. Ethnic Javanese are the largest tribe in Indonesia, both in number and wider distribution. They are often referred to himself as Wong Jowo or Tiang Jawi.
Java community in communicating with each other everyday uses Java language that is stratified. The use of language at a certain level is also influenced by the Javanese people in a particular class. Officially, the Java language into three levels, including the following
a. Ngoko language, the language that is used for people who are already known to be close and intimate, or used to speak to younger people
b. Language karma, that is the language used to talk to people higher social level, such as speaking to groups of farmers and priyayi
c. Intermediate language, the language variation of language use and ngoko language manners. Beyond these three languages, known as kedaton language, that is the language used in Keraton areas. People of Java are famous for its stereotypical meek, graceful. But Java community does not like to be frank, is not open. They prefer to hide his feelings.
Ancestral customs which the Java community is still preserved and respected. In the human life cycle known as the ceremonies that are traditional rituals such as ceremonial death, The Birth, Marriage, Death etc. Similarly, in agricultural activities and religious ceremonies are known for unique and interesting. It was all intended as an expression of gratitude and beg 'mentally and physically well-being and safety of the world and the hereafter. Some of the ceremonial activities in Java can be classified as follows: the ceremony of death, Traditional birth ceremonies, and Wedding ceremonies.
Many traditional Javanese customs have their roots in the Kejawen belief or Hindu traditions, although most Javanese are not Hindu anymore. Minor deity such as Nyi Loro Kidul and Deities of Mount Merapi are still revered at Yogyakarta, special ceremonies are held to maintain good relationships with Nyi Loro Kidul and Mount Merapi.
The differences above are not obstacles for Indonesia to hostile nations. But the difference is the feature of Indonesia's diverse peoples who have the beauties of some aspects of culture that is owned. So, the difference is the unifying beautiful in accordance with the motto of Indonesia is Bhineka Tunggal Ika.
